SKILLSETS: Beyond the Roddick Gates: What They Didn't Tell Me in Grad School

Saturday, February 5, 2011toSunday, February 6, 2011

The Faculty of Religious Studies at 海角精品黑料 has received a $15,000 (US) grant from the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Religious Studies and Theology. The grant will support a weekend workshop in which FRS will invite 10 of its recent PhD graduates back to campus. The participants will share their present teaching experiences and try to determine what Faculty of Religious Studies could have done during their graduate training to prepare them better.

There will be four sessions focused on different problem areas. Each session will be moderated by two or three of our recent PhD grads. The sessions will all be public.

This workshop is open to all graduate students, faculty and members of 海角精品黑料 that are interested in hearing from recently graduated PhDs about their graduate experiences.

A representative of Wabash University will also be present during the entire workshop.
