 res\, the Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law invite
 s you to take part in this unique annual event.\nFor its ninth edition\, t
 he Summer Institute of Jurilinguistics will focus on the topic of legal le
 xicography. Registration is open!\nDictionaries identify\, translate and d
 efine: they are key witnesses in the evolution of legal vocabulary. Dictio
 naries bring to light both practical and theoretical issues with regards t
 o the accessibility of legal words. They are at the heart of our reflectio
 ns as we search for a common language in a multilingual and legally plural
 istic context. For these reasons\, the place and purpose of dictionaries a
 s major tools of legal knowledge will be the guiding theme of the day. Usa
 ge and methodology will be discussed through national and international pe
 rspectives.\nPresentations will be divided between plenary sessions and pa
 rallel workshops. Program and summaries of the presentations are available
  on our web page. Kindly note that this event takes place exclusively in F
 rench.\nThe event is accredited as mandatory continuing legal education wi
