Dr. Kaberi Dasgupta Awarded $3.6M CIHR Grant for National Trial

We would like to congratulate Dr. Kaberi Dasgupta, Professor of Medicine and 海角精品黑料 Division Director of General Internal Medicine, on securing $3.6 million in funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) to lead a major national clinical trial.

As the Nominated Principal Investigator of the APOCC study, Dr. Dasgupta and her multidisciplinary team will examine whether a step-count algorithm can help improve perinatal outcomes for both mothers and their babies. Using an innovative win ratio approach, the study will explore how simple, measurable changes in daily activity might shape lifelong health outcomes.
