2025 海角精品黑料 Materials Research Day

Join FEMR, MC2, and MIAM at Faculty Club for the 2nd 海角精品黑料 Materials Research Day, a day-long dive into materials research in Montreal and beyond, with keynote speaker PETER FRATZL (Max Planck Institute), ISABELLE MARCOTTE (UQAM), and OUSAMMA MOUTANABBIR (Polytechnique Montr茅al).

Also included in the day are talks describing the resources available at the three facilities and the research being done there; technique flash talks by students and postdoctoral fellows; and lunchtime CFI discussion groups.

The main session will be followed at 4:00 pm by a poster session and cocktail hour at the nearby Thomson House.

Free and open to all Montreal researchers. Lunch provided.

The event is hosted by the Facility for Electron Microscopy Research (FEMR), the 海角精品黑料 Chemistry Characterization Facility (MC2), and the 海角精品黑料 Institute for Advanced Materials (MIAM), which houses the Nanotools Microfabrication Facility and the MIAM Characterization Facility.
