Lo ubna Belaid is an anthropologist and PRAM post-doctoral fellow focussing o n reproductive\, maternal\, neonatal and child health in post-conflict set tings. One concern in post-conflict and other humanitarian settings is the lack or distortion of support structures usually available as resources f or primary health care. Families are often fragmented\, women are often al one with their children\, and livelihoods are almost always very precariou s. This undercuts the usual organisational basis of family medicine and ca lls for new modalities of primary health care. Humanitarian settings also offer unprecedented opportunities for transformational shifts in delivery of health services\, as decolonising and culturally safe approaches can be introduced\, and their impact proved.\n \n Thursday November 22nd\, 2018 \n From 12:30 to 2:00 pm\n Department of Family Medicine\n 5858\, Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges\n \n BRING YOUR LUNCH! \n There is no parking on site and par king is limited in the area. \n Taxis and public transport are advised. \n \n Cannot make it to the seminar physically\, but wish to attend?
