 t impactful research is supported\, many funding programs have integrated 
 evaluation of EDI practices in proposed research projects and team environ
 ments.\n\nJoin Falisha Karpati\, PhD\, for this 2-hour virtual workshop to
  learn tips and strategies for fostering EDI in your research context and 
 discussing EDI concepts in your funding applications. The workshop will be
  interactive and include a speaker presentation\, guided individual reflec
 tion and (optional) small group discussion.\n\nBy the end of the session\,
  participants will be able to:\n\n\n	Describe why funding programs now regu
 larly evaluate EDI practices in research projects and teams and how this b
 enefits the research community and public.\n	Identify common pitfalls in th
 e EDI sections of grant applications and adopt strategies to avoid these p
