Despite these physical relations\, many fundamental questions fo r the stochastic heat equation above one dimension remain open. In particu lar\, two dimensions are the critical dimensions for the stochastic heat e quation and are known for much more subtle properties.\n \n In this talk\, I will begin with an overview of the stochastic heat equation. Then I will turn to the setting of two dimensions and explain connections between (1) the moments of certain solutions from renormalizing the noise and (2) a so lvable quantum mechanical system given by the many-body Bose gas with delt a-function potentials. Accordingly\, the last part of the talk will concen trate on related constructions of the Bose gas dynamics\, with an emphasis on a Euclidean\, probabilistic analytic view.\n\nZoom link for remote acc ess: https://mcgill.zoom.us/j/89866454424?pwd=OGxsVTRheUtzRU9uV2JVN0VOUi8v Zz09\n\n\n  \n DTSTART:20211208T160000Z DTEND:20211208T170000Z LOCATION:Room 1205\, Burnside Hall\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 0B9\, 805 rue Sherbrooke Ouest SUMMARY:Yu-Ting Chen (University of Victoria) URL:/mathstat/channels/event/yu-ting-chen-university-v ictoria-335378 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
