The BMO Responsible AI Research Awards聽help to foster interdisciplinary undergraduate research aimed at understanding and positively influencing the impact of AI on society, drawing on not only technological aspects but also those related (but not limited) to arts, decision making, health, law and policy.
Powered by BMO, McCAIS offers these awards to promote work that transcends traditional academic disciplines, thereby encouraging innovative solutions to complex problems. Each award, amounting to $8,700.00, is significant in that it not only assists the student and their supervisors with research funding but also enhances the interdisciplinary research capabilities of their Faculty and 海角精品黑料 as a whole.
During the research phase, it is the responsibility of the students and supervisors to make sure that the research is being conducted in a responsible manner (e.g., uphold the academic integrity of the University, comply with all policies on research ethics and procedures governing use of human subjects (if any) and data management).
