Craig Mandato

Craig Mandato is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is a former CRC in Cellular Contractility, and his research primarily focuses on the molecular mechanism of cell division. He has held many administrative positions including Departmental Chair, Chair of CRC awards committee, and served as a member on various Tri-Council funding committees.

Tracy Webb

Tracy Webb is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, and a member of the Trottier Space Institute at º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ. Her research centres on the formation and evolution of galaxies, with a focus on phases of rapid transformation of massive systems  in dense galactic environments.   She got her PhD from the University of Toronto and spent several years as a postdoc in the Netherlands before joining º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ in 2006.    

Andrew Kirk

Andrew Kirk is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research focuses on the development of optical sensors for molecular recognition, with a focus on point-of-care medicine applications and the development of photothermal therapy method for cancer treatment. He is also the inventor of several patents. He is a recipient of the William and Rhea Seath Award for Engineering Innovation and the NSERC Synergy Award.

Research Integrity Analyst

Rita Biel

Rita Biel is the Research Integrity Analyst within the Office of the RIO and the Office of the Vice-President (Research & Innovation) (VPRI) at º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ. She is responsible for supporting the work of º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ’s Research Integrity Officers and of the VPRI, in relation to research integrity files, as well as educational outreach activities pertaining to research integrity for the º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ community.  Rita Biel completed a PhD in environmental epidemiology at º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ.  She also holds an M.Sc. in epidemiology and a B.Sc. in ecology, both from the University of Calgary.  She has worked in health science research in academic settings and in public health practice as an epidemiologist.
