A small number of º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ faculty members need the option to borrow a large number items to conduct their research and teaching activities. However, as per BCI agreement, users can only borrow 100 items at a time.

To address the needs of º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ faculty members who need the option to borrow more than 100 items to conduct their research and teaching activities, faculty members can now request a second borrowing card, known as a Faculty Research Card.

This extra Faculty Research Card will allow faculty members to borrow 100 items in addition to the 100 they can borrow on their regular º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ card. The same rules concerning fines, loan periods, and automatic renewals will apply on both cards.

Please note that the same loan policies and return policies apply to items borrowed using your Faculty Research Card.

Please note that your regular º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ borrowing account and your º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ Libraries Borrowing card are two separate accounts that are not connected to one another.

Your º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ Libraries Borrowing card account will have a different password from your regular º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ account. You will be sent a link to set the password for your º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ Libraries Borrowing card after you submit your application for the card.

When signing in to your º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ Libraries Borrowing card account:

Sign in to your : select "Login with a barcode". Use the barcode on your º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ Libraries Borrowing Card (begins with 290), and the password you selected during the registration process.
